About the Dayara Bugyal Trek

Dayara Bugyal, one of the most beautiful alpine meadows in India, is a trekker’s delight nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The word “Bugyal” translates to “high-altitude meadow” in the local language, and true to its name, Dayara unfolds a vast rolling landscape of lush grasslands surrounded by snow-clad peaks.

Situated at an altitude of about 11,181 feet (3,408 meters), the meadow offers breathtaking views of prominent Himalayan peaks such as Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag (Black Peak), Srikanth, and Draupadi Ka Danda.
